Determining a Record When There Are Multiple Equivalent Criteria

If multiple athletes of the same gender/age/bodyweight category have attained the same successful lift or total, achieved on the same day, and all have completed their Record Application during the two-month application window, then the following criteria will determine the new record holder, in this order — the athlete with:

1. the least number of attempts;
2. the lighter bodyweight;
3. the earlier birthdate.
